Atkins Road Corridor

regional mapAtkins Road, while in close proximity to Stantack Road, is markedly different in character. Along this section are more houses, though not as dense as in other areas of the city. Dotting the landscape are open farm fields used for hay, with some pasture land surrounded by forested areas giving this area a bucolic feel. The city wishes to maintain the agricultural feel of this area as well as other sections of the city. The Mattabeset Trail connection is also proposed through the Atkins Road corridor via a trail along Atkins Road and will continue around Highland Pond.
